Who we are

k5e is an entertainment event management platform. This policy explains what personal information we collect through k5e.live and how we use it.

What we collect

The k5e.live website has no sign-up forms; accounts are created in the k5e apps. The early-access waitlist is closed (see Data retention).

We do not collect payment information or track your behaviour across other sites.

Information from the k5e apps

When you use the k5e Spot (performer) or k5e Cue (host) apps, we also process:

• Account details — your email address and the display/stage name you choose.
• Event activity — the events you join and the song requests and notes you submit.
• A session cookie — a secure cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can delete your account and data at any time from Security & sign-in in the app.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to:

• Run your account and the events you join.
• Send the emails your account needs, such as sign-in and verification messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the site:

• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) in transit. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Data retention

The waitlist is closed, and its sign-ups are being removed from the live service. We keep an offline copy for up to 24 months, then delete it. Email [email protected] to have your entry removed sooner.

Your rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
